SocialCheck helps users track changes to their social media connections, including Instagram followers, Facebook friends, and Facebook followers.
SocialCheck is designed with privacy in mind and only accesses information necessary to provide features selected by the user.
SocialCheck allows users to import Facebook and Instagram data exports, including supported ZIP and JSON files.
Imported information may be processed and stored locally on the user's device so SocialCheck can compare current and previous information and identify changes such as new followers, unfollowers, new friends, or removed friends.
SocialCheck does not sell imported social media data.
SocialCheck offers optional Facebook synchronization features that allow users to review changes to their Facebook friends and followers.
When a user chooses to use a Facebook Sync feature, SocialCheck may display Facebook through an in-app web view so the user can access their own Facebook account and information.
SocialCheck uses information obtained during a user-initiated sync to provide features such as identifying new or removed friends, new followers, unfollowers, and displaying current connection information.
SocialCheck does not ask users to provide their Facebook password directly to SocialCheck.
SocialCheck may store comparison results, connection history, names, profile images, identifiers, and related information locally on the user's device when necessary to provide its tracking and history features.
This information allows SocialCheck to compare different snapshots over time and identify changes to the user's social connections.
SocialCheck may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Advertising providers may collect or process information such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location, and app interaction or usage information for purposes such as delivering, measuring, preventing fraud, and improving advertisements, subject to their own privacy policies and applicable user consent requirements.
SocialCheck may offer subscriptions, free trials, and other in-app purchases through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Payment information is processed by Apple or Google. SocialCheck does not directly receive or store users' full payment card information.
We do not sell users' imported social media data or SocialCheck connection history.
Certain third-party services used by the app, such as advertising or platform services, may process information according to their own privacy policies.
SocialCheck may interact with services provided by third parties, including Facebook, Instagram, Google AdMob, Apple, and Google. Use of those services may also be subject to the respective provider's terms and privacy policies.
This Privacy Policy may be updated as SocialCheck adds, removes, or changes features. The date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was most recently updated.
